Altro Whiterock PVCu wall systems are a hard-wearing, practical alternative to paint or tiling offering excellent standards of hygienic performance and reducing the potential for structural damage.
Thanks to Altro Whiterocks thermoformed pencil rounded corners and fully bonded construction, the number of areas where bacteria can thrive is greatly reduced, as is the risk of contamination.
Low maintenance combined with high durability makes for an excellent long-term investment.
Used in all kinds of healthcare, educational and commercial environments Altro Whiterock is easy to clean, resistant to wear and tear, and includes integral Altrosan bacteriostat, which does not support the growth of MRSA and similar organisms. Altro Whiterock is equally at home in the busy corridors of any hospital, as hygienic wall surfaces in food preparation areas or in the toilet and shower areas of your local sports facility. For all wet or dry areas where on-going cleaning and maintenance are top priorities added to the essential consideration of offering high standards of fire performance (meeting Class 0 classifications of the Building Regulations), Altro Whiterock has performance built in.
Altro Whiterock Extruded uPVC is a cost-effective sheet extruded from a high quality, food safe, uPVC polymer for operating temperatures up to 60°C. It is easy to clean, impact resistant and grout-free. It meets all current EU Directives on health and hygiene and offers a cost-effective choice. See the attached Technical Data Sheet for further information.
Whiterock sheet dimensions are typical and for guidance only as our Hygienic Wall Cladding System can be visibly or seamlessly jointed to suit most wall dimensions.
Located in the West Midlands, the new Marie Curie Hospice is a larger, purpose-built facility to help the Marie Curie organisation provide its services throughout the Birmingham and Warwickshire area.
The new £20 million hospice has 24 en-suite bedrooms, superb out-patients facilities and a cafe overlooking its landscaped gardens. A fantastic environment for patients and staff alike.
In order to eliminate the need for on-site disruption or delay, Inscape’s modular Giene-Duct CPS system was manufactured and assembled at their own dedicated factory, separate to the Marie Curie construction site. As Giene-Clad CPS is a pre-framed duct panel system it is easy to install any required sanitaryware and brassware, resulting in significant efficiency and cost saving benefits for the project.
Additionally, Inscape also provided Altro Whiterock Chameleon hygienic wall cladding in a range of high gloss decors to brighten the en-suite shower areas as well as Altro Whiterock Digiclad in the kitchen area to provide a unique feature wall and to help enhance the environment for kitchen staff.
