Cosmopolitan
The Christie at Macclesfield is a cancer care centre designed by AFL Architects and built by Vinci Construction UK, the two-storey NHS facility will provide closer-to-home care for more than 1,500 existing Christie patients.
The more than 28,000 sq ft building offers outpatient care, palliative care, holistic support and information services. It provides staff with the ability to conduct 12,500 radiotherapy treatments a year. It can also enable 6,800 chemotherapy and haematology treatments as well.

We’re glad to have been chosen to deliver the IPS Works given our longstanding relationship with Vinci Construction and having completed many previous projects over a number of years. Cosmopolitan Duct Panelling Systems were chosen as a fit for purpose specification for the scheme having successfully installed this product on other NHS projects, being a reliable, robust, visually pleasing, and an easily maintained system for the environment.
