The 8,000 sq ft mansion has been converted into a prestigious wedding and events venue, with 3,000 sq ft of new office space for Salford City Council’s registry service.
Relocating the city council’s registry office to Buile Hill Mansion was aimed at improving public access, enhancing services, and creating a one-stop destination for couples planning their special day.
The development also supports the wider community, with the ground-floor café welcoming park visitors and families, and a dedicated community room available for local groups, clubs and activities.
This refurbishment marks a significant step forward for a building with deep roots in Salford’s heritage, ensuring its future as a vibrant and functional public space.
John Turner Construction appointed Inscape to deliver bespoke washroom systems that would complement the newly restored interior while providing durable, hard-working solutions suitable for a high-footfall public venue.
Our Aluline Cubicle Systems and Extremus IPS Systems were installed as modern solutions designed to service all users of the building. Featuring minimalistic aluminium-profiled fronts and sleek fittings, the systems provide a contemporary finish in keeping with the mansion’s refurbished décor.
