Inscape welcomes Ethan for a week of hands-on work experience
Inscape recently welcomed local student Ethan Hodgkinson for a week of work experience, giving him practical insight into how our business operates.
The placement was arranged after we were approached by Parklands High School as part of our work to support local students.
Over the course of a week, Ethan worked alongside colleagues across a range of departments, gaining hands-on experience of the processes that make our business run efficiently.
He learned how our sales and estimating teams operate, from using CRM systems and communicating with customers, to identifying new project opportunities and supporting the preparation of quotations.
Ethan also helped organise product samples, update our sample database, assess architectural drawings and measure layouts for estimating purposes.
These tasks offered an insight into the range of skills needed within the business, combining organisation, communication, and technical understanding.
Throughout his placement, Ethan demonstrated an excellent attitude, achieving full marks across every area of his performance assessment.
