Available in full-height and half-height variants, the Extremus duct panel system is a high impact, high durability system, ideal for public, heavy traffic or wet areas such as swimming pools, leisure facilities, schools and colleges of all sizes as well as correctional and secure facilities.
Extremus ducts are available as either pre-plumbed units complete with sanitaryware or as a simple panel system to be configured by others.
Applications
Suitable for schools & colleges, swimming pools & leisure facilities, hospitals and even prisons – the Extremus duct panel system is a totally flexible solution manufactured from Solid Grade Laminate (which is virtually indestructible in normal use). Being impervious to water Extremus duct panels are ideal for shower and wet areas whilst their impact resistant qualities means that they are very difficult to scratch and virtually impossible to damage when used in high traffic areas such as schools and hospitals.
Manufacture
Extremus duct panels are manufactured from 12mm solid grade laminate. Panels can be manufactured in almost any normal width and height and are normally supplied so they butt together on horizontal joints with a shadowgap detail showing on the vertical section between panels sets.
Panels are normally supplied with a radiused, polished edge detail but other details can be supplied on request and overlapping rebated details can be supplied for shower areas so that the joints can be silicone sealed by others to prevent any water ingress.
The associated shadowgap framework can be manufactured from High-Pressure laminate on a 36mm MR core for dry situations or may be 12mm Solid Grade laminate onto a 26mm WBP Plywood core for wet areas. These arrangements provide ultimate flexibility for system widths and splits.

The Extremus duct panel system is designed to suit your project. It is manufactured in a variety of panel widths to cover any wall length and can accommodate all variations of individual panel splits to reach ceiling height. Typical panel splits for WC’s, Urinals, Wash Hand Basins, etc. will vary and are available for download from our technical section.
