Baltic Place Gateshead – World class offices in an iconic location

With its two dramatic towers, Baltic Place is an imposing structure located within Gateshead Quays. With 131,000 ft2 of prestige office space Baltic Place meets the exacting standards required for local, national and international business in need of a high quality and accessible working environment.

An imposing building, a prestigious clientele and sitting alongside three of the most iconic buildings in Gateshead  Baltic Arts Centre, Sage Music Centre and the Millenium Bridge Baltic Place needed washroom facilities that would hold their own.

Four New Bailey is a 175,000 sq ft office building located at the iconic English Cities Fund’s Salford scheme.

Designed by Make Architects, Four New Bailey is the fourth office to come forward at the consortium’s New Bailey scheme, part of the wider £1bn Salford Central masterplan.

English Cities Fund has already delivered One, Two and Three New Bailey, with plans for a fifth new-build office development already approved by Salford City Council. 

The building’s striking design is unlike any other in the city, adding to New Bailey’s eclectic mix of unique and exciting commercial developments.

Dubbed ‘the hanging gardens of Salford’ due to the 4,000 square metres of vertical foliage, A3 New Bailey is an office development located in Salford.

In addition to its living walls, the building provides 115,000 square feet of office space and ground-floor retail units. The final build runs exclusively on renewable energy and includes Passivhaus-standard insulation.

It forms part of a £1bn Salford Central masterplan, delivered by The English Cities Fund (ECF), a joint venture between Morgan Sindall’s development arm Muse, Legal & General and Homes England, in partnership with Salford City Council.

The tower has also been selected as a London Energy Transformation Initiative pioneer – a network aimed at meeting zero-carbon goals in the construction industry.

The 12 storey, 110,000ft2 office building increases local biodiversity and aims to be as sustainable and energy and carbon-efficient as possible

The Wirral Growth Hub is made up of two Grade A office buildings in Birkenhead town centre. Totalling 150,000 sq ft, the BREEAM Excellent-rated office buildings have been forward funded by institutional investor Canada Life Asset Management, with Morgan Sindall Construction named as its contractor.

The two new office buildings mark a significant milestone in the transformation of Birkenhead, being the second Grade-A development in the area since the Queensgate development in 2014.

They form the central hub of an exciting new business and leisure quarter developed in the heart of Birkenhead, which will attract further significant investment and create more opportunities for local residents.

One of the two five-storey office developments will be occupied by Wirral Council, with the other available for businesses to lease.

Wirral Growth Company is a joint venture between Wirral Council and national urban regeneration specialist, Muse Developments.

The office buildings are connected by a new outdoor public realm and open, adaptable spaces for occupiers, residents and visitors to enjoy, as well as providing opportunities for events and pop-up activities stimulating the daytime and evening economy in the town centre.
