Ideal for use in education, offices, motorway service stations or any other location where there are a high number of users but space is at a premium.
Wash Troughs combine the maximum number of individual washing points into the smallest space because, unlike more traditional vanity units, no space is wasted between the individual basins.
Add to this the fact that all the water goes directly in to the trough there is no vanity surface to get covered in water and drip to the floor and you have a more hygienic, slip-free, and therefore safer, washroom environment.
Applications
Wash troughs provide space saving benefits as more tap points can be mounted closer together than in a traditional vanity unit. This makes them ideal for all types of education and commercial applications in schools, colleges, universities, offices and service stations or wherever multiple washing facilities are required. They are generally supplied without tap holes so that wall-mounted taps can be used but can also be supplied with tap holes if deck mounted taps are preferred.
Wash troughs offer unique hygiene, safety and maintenance benefits as there are no surfaces for water to sit and less silicone joints to attract mould. It is also less likely that water will spill onto floors causing slipping hazards. Add to this the fact that they are manufactured from very hard wearing, and in some cases repairable, materials (although please be aware that Stainless Steel will scratch and dent if abused), then Wash Troughs are generally a solution for the lifetime of the environment.
Available in three standard sizes, 1200mm, 1800mm and 2400mm (Stainless Steel and Solid Surface troughs can be supplied in other sizes to special order). The wash troughs must be fixed to an underframe or cabinet which conceals the services and improves the cleaning, anti-tamper and vandal resistance features.
