Residents needs at the heart of the design
Inscape Interiors were appointed by the client to manufacture and install bespoke furniture that would meet the space-planning needs of the occupants without compromising safety or reducing its resistance to vandalism. The colour scheme was chosen to provide a calming, natural, warm and homely feel within the well-planned bedroom spaces. All furniture was anti-ligature with the residents needs at the heart of the design brief. Concealed fixings were used throughout the furniture assembly to maintain aesthetics and to enable the furniture to withstand high-stress situations in the room and the test of time over the life cycle of the building.
