About the role
Inscape is looking for a driven and enthusiastic apprentice to join our team in Chorley, Lancashire.
This role is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a leading manufacturing company that provides products and services into the construction sector while working towards a Level 3 Business Administrator qualification with full support and training provided by North Lancs Training Group (NLTG).
You’ll start by learning about our manufactured products and key business processes, developing the skills and confidence to find and develop new business opportunities, and laying the foundation to become a future Business Development Manager, Sales professional, or Estimator.
What you’ll be doing
- Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities
- Learning product knowledge to help promote Inscape’s products and services
- Managing and responding to customer enquiries
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Learning to prepare and provide customer estimates
- Using internal business systems for administration and project management
- Working as part of a dynamic and supportive team
What we’re looking for
- Confident with excellent communication skills
- Outgoing and enthusiastic
- Proactive, willing to learn and develop
- Able to manage their time and workload effectively
- Interested in building a long-term career in business development or sales
Requirements
- Able to use standard software packages (Word & Excel) and the ability to learn company specific software (quote-manager).
- Be discrete and trustworthy (occasionally being party to confidential information)
- Flexible and adaptable
- A good verbal and written communicator
- Organised with ability to multi-task
- Work well under pressure and undertake instructions
- Have a drive and ambition to succeed as a Business Development Manager.
- 9-4 in Maths (not essential)

Training provided
You’ll work towards achieving your Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard, delivered by NLTG with expert guidance and ongoing support.

- Location: Chorley, Lancashire
- Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week)
- Salary: £271.80 per week
Future prospects
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there is the opportunity for progression into a full-time Business Development, Sales, or Estimator role within Inscape.
