Based in a former police station, Kids Planet- Hoylake is a nursey which caters for babies through to pre–school.
The refurbishment is designed to provide each of the individual age groups with large spacious rooms, including a state-of-the-art sensory room and a secure outdoor area, all in fun, bright and stimulating colours. With meals prepared on the premises, with a focus on the nutritional requirements of the children, and a qualified nursery chef that welcomes input for the menus from parents, the Wirral based nursery ensures every child is given the best opportunities during their early years care with them.

The design brief required a low height cubicle system without a headrail to allow the next generation to feel safe without hindering access for staff members. Fortunately, we had the tried and tested solution for this environment. Utilising pleasing, safe shapes with fun images, our Nova cubicle range was perfect for this project.
All refurb contracts come with their own set of specific challenges to overcome and this one was no different. By working together we overcame issues concerning the correct floor fixing detail to work with the existing construction and did so by bringing in expertise from our wider supply chain and experience from our dedicated fitting teams.

The North-West based childcare group has worked with over 250 young people to help develop their careers in Early Years since launching their own Training Academy in 2008. The local group now take part in the government’s Kickstart Scheme, helping 30 young people launch their Early Years careers since March 21 with another 90 places available over the coming year.
After successfully completing projects in both Hoylake and Chester, we are eager to start work on the next Kids Planet – Winnington!
