The Fleetwood Town FC Training complex at Poolfoot Farm is a pavilion style training complex.
Comprising of Football Academy Buildings with full training facilities, 12 grass pitches, bar & restaurant, FA Standard changing rooms, washroom facilities, gym and classrooms. The building fabric, both internally & externally was designed taking carbon calculations into account.
Sir Alex Ferguson, the legendary boss of Manchester United, (who spent 26 years in charge at Old Trafford, was integral in the move from the old facility at the Cliff in 2000) admitted League One Fleetwood Town have a ‘fantastic’ facility and has one feature he would love to have thought of at United- looking out from the facilities and being able to see onto the training ground. When a player is coming back from injury and can see the pitches, it is a great incentive and motivator to get out there. The most decorated Manager in English Football went on to say “I thought I was coming to a small academy suited to a small club but you see the magnitude of it and it just shows you the ambition here. I’m surprised at this facility. Fantastic.” We are proud to be associated with this scheme.

Recognizing the importance of players and support staff at any football club it was requirement that they were provided with the best facilities possible. The responsibility for determining the best product specifications to suit this particular environment was left with Inscape Interiors. Our expertise and experience in manufacturing techniques allowed us to expertly manage the various elements of the project such as space planning, product specifications and product dimensions. Each area was individually designed and manufactured but always with the understanding that this was a team environment. The combination of modern product design, seating selection and storage capacity meant that a match winning outcome was in the bag.
Extremus was chosen by the Client as a robust but cost-effective solution which would also take into consideration the need for longevity and resistance to high use from strong athletic users. The WC’s, Showers and Changing Areas are without compromise with regards to quality and are constructed from the toughest water, chemical and vandal resistance Solid Grade Laminate materials available. Manufactured in colour coded finishes together with high strength anti-vandal and anti-corrosion, Satin Anodised Aluminium fixtures & fittings, Extremus is a modern, hard wearing, and easily maintainable washroom and changing room system.
